[:hr]Rotary je međunarodna organizacija osoba iz stručnog i poslovnog života koje se posvećuju humanim ciljevima, cijene i promiču visoka etička načela u poslovnom i privatnom životu, te šire dobru volju i razumijevanje u svijetu. U Hrvatskoj trenutno djeluje 68 Rotary klubova, a Rotary E-klub Hrvatska je prvi E-klub u Rotary Distriktu 1913.
Osnovno načelo života i djelovanja za više od 1,2 milijuna Rotarijanaca diljem svijeta je “Service Above Self” odnosno nesebično služenje, a glavne vrijednosti su prijateljstvo & dobročinstvo.
Rotarijanski moralni kodeks može se sažeti u četiri pitanja, tzv. “The Four Way Test“:

Jedan od najvećih Rotary projekata na svjetskoj razini je End Polio inicijativa. U posljednja tri desetljeća napravio se ogroman posao te se odbrojava trenutak kada će se ova bolest iskorijeniti u potpunosti (“We are this close – Countdown to history”). Radi se najvećem globalnom projektu za javno zdravstvo na svijetu. Dodatna važnost ovog projekta je u činjenici da iskorjenjivanje jedne bolesti, posebno u problematičnim i teško dostupnim područjima, povećava šanse za uspjeh sličnih projekata u budućnosti.

Rotary International [:en]Rotary is an international organisation that brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service, promote high ethical standards, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. There are over 60 Rotary Clubs in Croatia, and Rotary E-Club Croatia is the first E-Club in Rotary District 1913.
The motto adopted by over 1.2 million Rotary members across the world is ‘Service Above Self’. It signifies the belief that Rotarians would put their duty to help others before their own needs.
The guiding principles of Rotary are summed up in the ‘Four-Way Test’:

End Polio Now is one of the longest standing and most significant efforts in Rotary’s history. For more than 30 years Rotary has led the global effort to reduce polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide (“We are this close – Countdown to history”). The nearly complete eradication of this disease is a remarkable achievement, and its success is paving the way for other similar projects.

Rotary International [:de]Rotary ist eine internationale Organisation, die Angehörige verschiedener Berufe, Führungskräfte und andere Persönlichkeiten unabhängig von politischen und religiösen Richtungen zusammenbringt, um humanitäre Dienste zu leisten. Sie fördert hohe ethische Standards und Dienstbereitschaft im täglichen Leben sowie Frieden auf der ganzen Welt. Es gibt über 60 Rotary Clubs in Kroatien. Rotary E-Club Croatia ist der erste E-Club im Rotary Distrikt 1913.
Das Motto von über 1,2 Millionen Rotary-Mitgliedern lautet ‘Service Above Self’. Es zeigt die Überzeugung, dass Rotarier ihre Pflicht, anderen zu helfen, über ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse stellen.
Die Leitprinzipien von Rotary sind im “The Four-Way Test“ zusammengefasst:

End Polio Now ist eine der am längsten bestehenden und bedeutendsten Bemühungen in der Geschichte von Rotary. Seit mehr als 30 Jahren führt Rotary die weltweiten Bemühungen an, Poliofälle weltweit um 99,9 Prozent zu reduzieren („We are this close – Countdown to history“). Die fast vollständige Ausrottung dieser Krankheit ist eine bemerkenswerte Leistung, und ihr Erfolg ebnet den Weg für andere ähnliche Projekte.
